There will probably be more details coming out in the coming weeks but so far this is what we know: There are numerous goose nesting platforms that will need to be removed and some duck nests that need to be removed due to non-use. We will need to break in to groups that will do certain tasks (like re-pack with hay, or use a handyman jack to remove platforms and T-Posts). We will also be opening the event to other waterfowlers in order to get into areas that can't be reached by airboat. The job is just too big for the WMA staff to get done with the time they have, so they really need our help. We will be also be partnering with the UWA to get the word out for this event.

Ok. Sounds good. I will go change things on the calendar at work to ensure that we can make it out.
The nesting project had to be moved back a week because Turpin will be drained down completly in order to treat the carp for eradication. He will be lucky to have a small amount of water in it by March 3rd.
Here is a map showing what the plan will be. It is a big project!
The nesting project has moved from February 24th to March 3rd?
I will be there to help.
